PG Plzeň

Západočeský paragliding klub Plzeň, known as PG Plzeň, is a Czech paragliding club based in the Plzeň region. Its website provides information for members and visiting pilots, including club membership, fees, flying sites, webcams, and sondes. The club also organizes and supports flying events, competitions, and opportunities for pilots to develop their skills.

Its events include the Šumava Cup, an introductory cross-country competition designed to welcome newer competitors, with beginner-focused briefings, weather analysis, help with flight instruments, route planning, safety support, and results processing. PG Plzeň also organizes paramotor slalom competitions over the water at Velký Bolevecký rybník, where pilots can practice slalom and flight maneuvers with safety arrangements including loaned vests and a rescue boat.

The club’s activities bring pilots together for training, competition, discussion, and community events. Its website shares event details and registration information, as well as updates on flying sites, club plans, and member meetings. Through these resources, PG Plzeň supports recreational and competitive paragliding in and around Plzeň.
