About Institute of Pharmacovigilance
The Institute of Pharmacovigilance is dedicated to advancing the pharmacovigilance profession by improving the competency of professionals in the field. Through their career framework, standards, and professional certification, they strive to enhance the performance and recognition of the entire pharmacovigilance discipline. Established as a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization in 2015, the Institute provides training, research, publishing activities, and conference organization to support pharmacovigilance and public health.
They offer educational events and courses in multiple languages, delivering the latest and most practical insights from high-profile professionals in the field. In collaboration with the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP), the Institute is developing the Global Pharmacovigilance Professional Certification (GPPC) program, aiming to become the new global qualification assessment standard for pharmacovigilance roles. With a commitment to maintaining the highest standards, the Institute is ISO certified.
