PHDSmart

PHDsmart Ltd. is a digital platform created by private hire drivers for private hire drivers, with services also available to private hire operators. Its aim is to connect the trade and make practical information, professional support and useful products easier to access. Drivers can join its online community for free, use forums and groups, exchange public or private messages, connect with colleagues, and list unwanted items for sale. Operators can create profiles and groups, share updates, and advertise driver vacancies or their businesses at no charge.

PHDsmart also helps members find taxi insurance quotes, legal services, discounted breakdown recovery and accident management support. It offers access to online accountancy services through Click To Tax, with a stated discount for customers using the PHDsmart code. The platform plans to expand its resources to include education, personal development, and health and safety information. Its store features automotive and vehicle-care products alongside accessories, including car-seat items and related equipment.
