Philadelphia Freedom Roundup is a not-for-profit, recovery-based LGBTQIA+ social group serving the Philadelphia community. Since 1982, it has created, hosted, and promoted sober events that bring people together for fellowship, entertainment, and connection. The organization welcomes newcomers and offers an inclusive setting where people can enjoy social activities without substances.

Its programming includes dances, holiday gatherings, and celebrated drag events. A featured event, Miss Sobriety, brings together members of the recovery community for food, performances, and fellowship. The group also supports recovery beyond its events by helping individuals find LGBTQIA+-affirming resources and meetings in the Philadelphia area. It points people toward tools such as the Meeting Guide app and the SEPIA website to locate local meetings.

Donations help fund community gatherings, accessible programming, fellowship opportunities, scholarships for people facing financial hardship, and safe, sober LGBTQIA+ spaces. Through its events and recovery connections, Philadelphia Freedom Roundup fosters belonging and encourages people to pursue recovery together.
