Philea

AB Philea, founded in 1988, has established itself as one of Scandinavia's leading auction houses specializing in philately and numismatics. Based in Stockholm, Philea hosts eight international auctions each year, offering an impressive array of stamps, collections, letters, postcards, and coins from around the globe. With a commitment to quality, they conduct two major auctions annually in their physical venue, complemented by live online auctions that attract participants worldwide.

Philea has expanded its offerings to include valuable coins, banknotes, medals, and militaria, supported by high-quality auction catalogs in English with detailed illustrations. They provide expert valuations for stamp and coin collections, catering to a wide clientele including estates and insurance purposes. Additionally, as part of their operations, Myntkompaniet organizes two annual coin auctions, focusing on precious metals like gold and silver.

With a dedicated team of around 20 staff members, Philea continues to enhance its online presence and services, making it accessible for buyers and sellers alike, and plans to launch a webshop for fixed-price sales in the near future
