Philippe Labaune

Philippe Labaune Gallery is a New York City art gallery devoted to original comic art and illustration. Founded in 2021, it champions emerging and established artists from around the world, presenting work from the 20th and 21st centuries. Located at 534 West 24th Street in Manhattan, the gallery connects comic book artwork with a broader fine-art audience through exhibitions and related events.

Its program features original pages, covers, illustrations, and other works by artists whose practices span comics, design, and visual storytelling. Featured artists include Mike Mignola, Klaus Janson, and Paul Pope, whose work reflects a wide range of approaches, from expressive black-and-white linework to richly colored, imaginative narratives. The gallery’s exhibitions offer visitors opportunities to explore artists’ techniques, creative histories, and contributions to the medium. Philippe Labaune Gallery also shares exhibition news and press coverage, and provides information for visitors interested in its shows and offerings. With a focus on presenting and promoting original comic art, the gallery serves collectors, enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the artistic possibilities of sequential storytelling.
