About PHILLAW
Phillaw is one of the oldest privately-held law schools in the Philippines, founded in 1915 by Attys. Don Simeon and Don Ricardo Conlu Lacson. It has a rich history and was ranked 14th among the top-performing law schools in the country based on the percentage of Bar Exam passers in 2012.
The institution aims to be the preferred higher learning institution for aspiring lawyers, offering a comprehensive curriculum and a conducive learning environment. Phillaw's mission is to empower working law students to achieve their highest aspirations through education and the pursuit of a Law degree. With a vision to enable its students to advance in their ongoing careers, the school is dedicated to providing quality education.
The school's notable alumni include Carlos P. Garcia, the 8th President of the Philippines, and Josepha Abiertas, the pioneering Filipina feminist. Presently, the school is headed by Mr.
Vittorio G. Lacson (Chairman) and Ms. Sabina G.
