Phillip Payne Fine Art is the studio and gallery of Arizona sculptor Phillip Payne, whose work draws on a lifelong immersion in art. Raised in Sedona and on the Navajo Nation, Phillip learned to sculpt in clay from an early age under the influence of his father, renowned bronze sculptor Ken Payne. He completed his first fine art piece at fifteen, opened his first gallery at nineteen, and went on to develop a distinctive practice centered on bronze sculpture.
The studio presents and sells works inspired by history, literature, philosophy, and the human spirit. Subjects range from figures such as Plato and Quanah Parker to ideas shaped by writers, musicians, and stories. Rather than simply reproduce what he sees, Phillip interprets images formed through reading and imagination, giving each sculpture a narrative quality.
Phillip Payne Fine Art also connects with collectors through gallery conversations, layaway options, custom plans, and custom commissions.
