Phil Rawlings — Words & Pictures is the creative home of writer, graphic designer, illustrator and occasional songwriter Phil Rawlings. His work draws on small moments, longer memories and ideas gathered in notebooks, bringing words and images together in books and illustrations. The latest title, The Left-Hander’s Survival Guide, is a warm, gently humorous collection of essays about growing up left-handed and finding a way in a world designed for someone else. Illustrated by Rawlings, it is available in hardback and paperback, with purchase options through IngramSpark and booksellers in several countries.
Other featured works include The Lokta Illustrated Bible, presenting the beginning of the Bible through the colours and textures of Nepal, and The Twelve Days of Christmas, a familiar carol brought to life in twelve illustrations. The website also showcases art and prints, alongside studio notes that offer glimpses into stories as they take shape and the notebooks behind them.
