Welcome to Phl, the Premier Hockey League! With over 50 years of collective experience in playing, coaching, and running successful hockey programs, founders Kelly Bruce and Kevin Hill established the PHL to provide a unique development model for aspiring players. Our league offers a higher level of competition than traditional minor hockey, allowing players to elevate their skills and chase their dreams. As an independently owned and operated league, we have member organizations from Alberta, British Columbia, and Montana.

We started with just four teams in 2019 and now boast more than 50 teams across different divisions. Our league format includes showcase weekends where each team competes in four games over a span of 2-3 days. The season culminates in a championship showcase weekend in March.

At PHL, we prioritize the development and enjoyment of young athletes. We provide various divisions for different age groups, ensuring a safe and competitive environment. Our mission is to continuously improve the league by enhancing officiating, communication, and rules, as well as offering reasonable travel schedules and ample opportunities for development ice and exhibition games.
