Phoenix Aero Club

Phoenix Aero Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer-led aviation club and CASA Part 141 flight training school based at Camden Airport in Sydney. Its mission is to make aviation accessible and promote safer skies by developing skilled, safety-conscious pilots through professional instruction and ongoing learning. The club welcomes beginners, licensed pilots, and aviation enthusiasts, offering a friendly community alongside its training services.

Courses support a range of goals, from a Recreational Pilot Licence and Private Pilot Licence to commercial training, Night VFR, instructor ratings, licence endorsements, and flight reviews. Experienced instructors provide personalised guidance, with training aircraft including well-maintained Cessna 172s and Piper PA-28s. Members can also hire training and touring aircraft for private flying, subject to club requirements and hire terms.

Phoenix Aero Club offers competitive member rates, a Trial Introductory Flight for newcomers, and facilities for study and socialising, including a verandah overlooking the runway. Club events and an active aviation community help members connect, share knowledge, and celebrate progress from first flights to licence achievements.
