About PhonicScore
PhonicScore is a music-tech company based in Vienna, Austria, also known as the city of music. Our mission is to provide musicians with easily accessible digital solutions that are based on the principles of Deliberate Practice. We believe that this approach is essential for improving skills and enjoying the process of practicing and learning a musical instrument.
In addition to our commitment to musicians, we have made significant contributions to the digital revolution in the music industry. We have developed the first mature open-source solution for displaying sheet music in a web browser using MusicXML, known as Open Sheet Music Display (OSMD). Our technology includes innovative features like Instant Pitch Monitoring (IPM), which provides real-time visual intonation and rhythm feedback, and Auto Page Turning (APT), allowing freehand note page turning.
