Photon is a contemporary photography organization that presents and promotes photographic art through exhibitions, public programs, and publishing. Its activities include Photon Gallery in Ljubljana and P, a satellite photography space in Maribor focused on contemporary photography and photographic editions. The organization showcases work by photographers and artists through current and forthcoming exhibitions, alongside an archive of past shows, event photographs, and recordings. Its program also includes international presentations and participation in fairs, connecting audiences with photography beyond its gallery spaces.

Photon offers educational activities and maintains a shop featuring books, limited editions, and gifts. Its residency program further supports engagement with contemporary photography. Through news and international opportunities, the organization shares updates relevant to artists and the wider photography community. Photon’s venues provide places to encounter photographic work, while its events and publications extend that experience to visitors and collectors. Based in Ljubljana, Photon serves audiences interested in photography as an artistic practice and cultural field, with programming that includes exhibitions by individual artists and broader photography projects.
