Photos

Photos by Maris is the photography brand of Mariska, a photographer based in Lemmer, Friesland, who works throughout the Netherlands. Her approach is relaxed and personal, focusing on genuine connection and spontaneous moments rather than stiff posing. She offers wedding photography, family sessions, pregnancy shoots, newborn photography and pure portraits of children. Sessions can take place at clients’ homes, outdoors or in her daylight studio in Lemmer.

Wedding coverage captures both key events and the small, meaningful moments in between. Mariska adapts to each occasion, offering guidance when useful and stepping back to let moments unfold naturally. Her family and maternity sessions are designed to feel warm and unforced, while newborn shoots follow the baby’s pace and create soft, timeless images. Pure portraits provide a simple record of a child as they are at this stage of life. Listed starting prices are €290 for family and pregnancy sessions, €340 for newborn photography and €125 for pure portraits.
