Photo Tech is a camera and photographic equipment repair service based in Hackensack, New Jersey, serving customers from its facility at 58 Hobart Street. The company welcomes walk-ins without appointments and also accepts equipment by mail. Its technicians repair mirrorless cameras, digital SLRs, digital and film cameras, camcorders, video equipment, and lenses, and provide sensor cleaning.
Customers can request an estimate online, by phone, or in person. After receiving equipment, Photo Tech assigns a ticket and has a technician assess the issue. For non-warranty repairs, customers receive an estimate for approval; warranty claims are submitted to the warranty provider, with a valid sales receipt required.
Once work is approved, the team completes the repair and arranges shipping or pickup. Photo Tech reports typical repair turnaround of one to two weeks, though seasonal demand and parts availability can cause delays. Expedited service may be available for an additional fee.
Sensor cleaning may be completed the same day, subject to availability and a first-come, first-served process
