Phylumtech develops tools that automate behavioral testing of small animals, helping researchers make experiments simpler and faster. Its WMicrotracker product line supports organisms including C. elegans, zebrafish, parasitic worms, brine shrimp, and ticks. Phylumtech offers four WMicrotracker devices. The ARENA measures populations in agar or liquid with an optical pixel-shift detection system and supports 6-well, 24-well, and 35 mm Petri formats. The SMART tracks adult worms in real time in agar, using image detection across up to eight 35 mm Petri dishes, and provides route graphs and quantitative data.
