Opholdsstedet Piberhus is a Danish social-pedagogical residential care provider for children and young people aged 6–26 who need additional support, stability and caring adult relationships. Based in peaceful, natural surroundings on the outskirts of Rønnede, the organisation also offers convenient access to public transport. Piberhus aims to provide a safe, homelike and predictable environment where each person can thrive and develop at their own pace.
Its approach is grounded in respectful relationships, recognition of each individual and clear structure. Stable adults and consistent routines help create meaningful everyday experiences and support personal development and life skills. Piberhus offers several forms of support, including individual placements and small, protected units, assistance in ordinary settings, and supported transition to adulthood. Services also include step-down apartments and aftercare. As a young person’s needs change, internal moves between departments can help maintain continuity in relationships and environment. Across its services, Piberhus places wellbeing, long-term connections and a structured daily life at the centre of its work, supporting children and young people through different stages of development.
