Pickle is a real-time Ethereum Layer 2 designed to help application value remain within its ecosystem. Its custom Rust sequencer executes transactions on arrival, with scheduling targets of 10-millisecond mini-blocks and 250-millisecond EVM blocks, before transactions settle on Ethereum. Gas is paid in ETH, and a public testnet is open to users.
The network supports applications across categories including decentralized exchanges, lending, yield, perpetual trading, staking, and bridging. Through its on-chain fee router, verified applications retain at least 82% of eligible revenue, while a progressive ecosystem share is directed to PKL and related ecosystem needs. The model excludes liquidity-provider fees, creator royalties, service-provider payments, and user principal from its revenue base.
Pickle also offers builders milestone-based grants, liquidity support, and potential verified placement and promotion through its directory and social channels. Its token, PKL, has a fixed supply of 10 billion, with no mint function or admin key. A portion of ecosystem revenue supports on-chain buybacks and burns, alongside funding for the treasury, security, liquidity, and user incentives.
