We are excited to announce that our latest production, You Ask Him, a thought-provoking short film, has just completed post-production and is set to screen at various film festivals in mid-2023. Our journey began with the production of the experimental film The Gypsy Soul Disco directed by Nicky Larkin and was followed by the impactful short film BRIANNA. We have since undertaken numerous projects, including the short films MAGGIE and 180 Degrees directed by Jenn McGuirk, the online series Culture Chats, and the award-winning feature-length documentary What Is Going To Happen Next? Currently, we are working on the development of a drama and comedy series for television, a feature-length documentary for theatrical release, and new episodes of Culture Chats.

Leading the team as the Managing Director and Producer is Matthew Nevin, a seasoned Cultural Producer with over 20 years of experience in film, television, and the arts. In addition to his role at Pick Me Up Pictures, Matthew also serves as Co-Director of The MART Gallery & Studios Dublin and Executive Director of the non-profit CIACLA - The Contemporary Irish Art Center Los Angeles.

He has Produced and Directed the critically acclaimed feature-length documentary What is Going to Happen Next?, which has garnered several awards and screened at 21 international film festivals. With a strong passion for the arts, Matthew aims to spark conversations and dialogues about global issues, bridging the audience's connection to relatable narratives. He is particularly dedicated to creating inclusive projects that break down social and economic barriers.

With a wealth of experience in art direction and design for film and television, Matthew has contributed to hit shows like Luther, Eastenders, The Bill, and The Amazing Race. His expertise extends beyond the screen into the visual arts, having curated over 60 exhibitions internationally and produced artwork for renowned brands such as Ralph Lauren.
