PiDay

**Pigreco Day (PiDay Italia 2025)** is an engaging and educational initiative organized by the Italian Ministry of Education, aiming to bring together students and educators to celebrate the significance of the mathematical constant Pi (π). The event, scheduled for March 14, 2025, promotes the joy of mathematics through various activities designed to inspire young minds and strengthen their appreciation for scientific disciplines.

Pi (π), approximately valued at 3.14159, is pivotal in various mathematical applications, including the calculation of areas and volumes of circular and spherical shapes. The celebration emphasizes not only the mathematical importance of Pi but also its applications in physics and engineering. Collaborating with the Department of Molecular Biotechnology and Health Sciences from the University of Turin, Pigreco Day stands as a testament to the commitment of both the ministry and educational institutions towards advancing math and science education. Participants can look forward to an array of hands-on activities and learning opportunities that highlight the wonders of mathematics. Follow them on social media for updates!
