Pieckboom

Stichting Pieckboom is a community-focused foundation in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands, dedicated to bringing people together through an annual festive tradition. Its central project is placing a large, beautifully decorated Pieckboom on Anton Pieckplein, helping strengthen the sense of community and make the town centre a welcoming place to gather. The foundation also uses the occasion to raise additional funds for local good causes.

Stichting Pieckboom organizes the tree-lighting event, inviting residents and visitors of all ages to share in the start of the festive season. The gathering features the illumination of the tree and refreshments such as hot chocolate and sausage rolls. The foundation has placed the tree for seven years, creating a recurring opportunity for neighbours to meet and enjoy the seasonal atmosphere.

By combining a public celebration with support for local charities, Stichting Pieckboom contributes to community life in Kaatsheuvel. Its work centres on the Pieckboom project and the annual event at Anton Pieckplein, with everyone welcome to attend.
