Pie Diabético

Piediabetico. lat is a Latin American information and education portal focused on diabetic foot care. It brings together resources for patients and healthcare professionals, aiming to make reliable guidance, learning opportunities, and scientific references easier to find.

The site features listings of regional and international congresses and events, along with university diplomas, courses, and other academic programs related to diabetic foot management, wounds, and limb preservation. It also provides directories of scientific societies and organizations, including groups dedicated to diabetes, wound care, clinical guidelines, and preventing avoidable amputations. A curated section of guidelines and consensus documents offers professional reference material, with a reminder that these resources do not replace individual clinical evaluation.

For patients, the portal presents a daily foot-check tool that lets users submit a photo and receive a simple green, yellow, or red indication about possible warning signs, encouraging regular monitoring and timely consultation. Content is available in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, making the portal a practical hub for education, professional development, and patient awareness across Latin America
