PieperCross Westerkwartier is a motorsport event brand focused on off-road racing and CrossCountry competition. Its annual PieperCross events bring riders and spectators together for challenging races, with past editions featuring multiple race days, results, event reports and highlight videos. The event’s character combines demanding terrain with a welcoming atmosphere for participants and fans.
For 2027, PieperCross is planning its first indoor CrossCountry races, scheduled for 2 and 3 January at EXPO Hal Assen, near the TT Circuit. Organised in collaboration with the EXPO HAL Assen team, the event is set to use a 16,000-square-metre hall, with sand, clay and obstacles forming a compact indoor course. Easier bypasses are planned around difficult obstacles, and the course is designed to suit a broad range of off-road and motocross riders rather than focus on extreme SuperEnduro challenges. Spectators will be able to watch from stands, with food and drinks available in a hospitality area. The 2026 outdoor event was cancelled because of uncertainty around land-use rules and potential damage to seeded crops.
