About Pierra Menta
Pierra Menta is the official website of the renowned international ski mountaineering race. With 37 editions to its name, Pierra Menta has become the ultimate competition in the discipline, attracting the elite of ski mountaineers from around the world. This demanding and exhilarating race brings together over 200 teams of 2 skiers each.
The event takes place in Arêches-Beaufort, in the heart of Beaufortain, France. Arêches-Beaufort is a popular destination for both summer and winter sports, and the race unfolds on the slopes of Grand-Mont. The 38th edition of Pierra Menta is scheduled to take place from March 13th to March 16th, 2024, with the seniors' race running from March 13th to March 16th, and the young skiers' race taking place from March 15th to March 16th.
