Pierre’s Alley Cat

Pierre’s Alley Cat Society (PACS) is a registered charity based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Incorporated in 2007, the volunteer-led organization works to ease the suffering of stray and feral cats, having made a difference in hundreds of feline lives. PACS cares for cats living at the Dockyard and supports cats in foster care as they wait for permanent homes. Dockyard cats receive daily food and fresh water, healthy treats, and access to heated shelters. Foster cats receive individual care and support. The organization also helps provide veterinary treatment, medicine, shelter supplies, and ongoing maintenance.

PACS relies on fundraising, donations, and assistance from individuals and groups to sustain its work. Its main fundraiser is the annual Dockyard Cats calendar, with proceeds supporting Dockyard cats and other cats in need. Supporters can also donate or sponsor a cat to help cover food, shelter, veterinary care, and daily care.
