Pietro Moliterni is a professional wedding photographer based in Matera, Italy, specializing in capturing celebrations in the city and its distinctive surroundings. Familiar with Matera’s historic Sassi, ancient rock-cut dwellings and romantic landscapes, he helps document weddings in settings that are an integral part of each couple’s story.

Moliterni’s approach brings reportage and creative portraiture together in an elegant, considered style. He focuses on authentic moments, genuine emotion and the small details of the day, working naturally and discreetly rather than relying solely on posed images. His aim is to create photographs that preserve the experience of a wedding as a lasting record for couples, their children and loved ones.

His portfolio includes traditional weddings and elopements in Matera, with examples featuring ceremonies at local churches and celebrations at masserie. The website also features wedding albums and boxes, alongside a blog and information for prospective clients. Pietro Moliterni’s service is suited to couples who value photography as a meaningful investment and want an emotional, personal account of their wedding.
