Pigna

Pigna is a foundation that supports, cares for, employs and promotes people with disabilities in their living and working environments. Based in Bülach and Kloten, Switzerland, it offers 148 residential places across different housing arrangements, 175 jobs in workshops and a service business, and 90 places in its day centre. Its residential services include options for young adults, older people and people requiring care, as well as shared living and community activities. Pigna also provides supported employment, practical training and structured daytime activities.

The foundation’s workshops and service teams undertake mailing, packaging, welding, shrink-wrapping, laser work, laundry, digitisation, electrical assembly and screen printing. They also create greeting cards, including seasonal designs, which are available through the online shop and selected retail outlets. Pigna’s offerings include the Hans im Glück guesthouse, where guests can enjoy friendly service and freshly prepared meals. Through these services, products and hospitality, Pigna creates opportunities for participation and meaningful work while welcoming customers and visitors into its community.
