Pihalinnun Jahdit is a hunting and outdoor activity business based in Ähtäri, South Ostrobothnia, Finland. It offers guided hunts for pigeons, ducks, pheasants, partridges and forest game birds, with options suited to individuals and companies, from beginners to experienced hunters. The grounds cover several hundred hectares and include three private wetlands, providing varied settings for bird hunting and dog training.
Hunting trips are assisted by the company’s rough-haired German pointers, with owner Markus Pekkala acting as guide. The business also provides dog training, including the use of launchers to create controlled training situations. Through Pihalinnun Kennel, it breeds rough-haired German pointers.
Visitors can arrange accommodation to suit their needs, from wilderness-style stays to more comfortable cabins. A spacious, octagonal kota near a duck wetland offers facilities for cooking and breaks, overnight stays for one to four people, and gatherings for up to 26. Pihalinnun Jahdit brings hunting, dog training, lodging and outdoor hospitality together in one destination
