Pikkuguru

Pikkuguru is a wellbeing centre in Tampere, Finland, focused on supporting children, young people and families through tailored services for physical, emotional and social development. Its approach recognises each person’s individual needs and background, and its calm, inspiring premises are intended to encourage personal growth and connection with inner resources.

The centre’s services include individual and group occupational therapy, parent guidance and consultation. It also offers animal-assisted occupational therapy with a dog. Sensory-motor coaching is available individually and includes reflex assessment, treatment and home exercises. For personal growth, Pikkuguru provides individual solution-focused art therapy.

Pikkuguru has also offered yoga groups for children and young people. These groups are currently on pause, and the centre’s activities are now focused on rehabilitation work. The organisation warmly acknowledges the children, young people and families who have taken part in its yoga programme.
