About Pilanigeria
Pila Nigeria is the first female professional body in Nigeria, established in 1973. It is an affiliate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and represents all the Chartered female Insurance Professionals in the country. Pila Nigeria serves as an advocacy group, promoting gender mainstreaming and equal opportunities in the Insurance sub-sector of the financial services industry.
The association is dedicated to fostering forthrightness in women in the insurance industry and provides opportunities for continuing education, intellectual growth, and professional knowledge of its members. Pila Nigeria also collaborates with supervisory authorities and trade groups within the insurance industry to raise professionalism standards and contribute to nation building. With a rich history of producing industry leaders, Pila Nigeria continues to thrive, empowering women in insurance and making a significant impact in the sector.
