About PILAP
The Public Interest Law Association of Pakistan (PILAP) is a dedicated organization that champions the civic and civil rights of Pakistanis since its inception in 2011. PILAP is independent, non-political, and not-for-profit, funded by contributions from Pakistanis. PILAP aims to protect and defend the civil and human rights of all Pakistanis, with a focus on issues such as justice for sanitation workers, urban development, children's rights, education, and more.
Through research, advocacy, and litigation, PILAP strives to bring about positive change and ensure that fundamental rights are enjoyed by all. Recently re-organized to be more transparent, responsive, democratic, and participative, PILAP is poised to become the leading voice for the rights of the common man in Pakistan.
