About Pilot Photonics
Pilot Photonics is the leading provider of fast tunable lasers, offering innovative solutions in the field of optical combs and monolithic integration. With a team of 24 physicists and engineers, including 9 PhD-level experts, Pilot Photonics has been at the forefront of this technology since 2015. They have successfully designed, produced, and patented a comb laser based on a decade of academic research conducted by Tyndall National Institute and Dublin City University.
Their proprietary comb laser is now incorporated into Photonic Integrated Circuits fabricated by three European III-V foundries. In addition to their comb lasers, Pilot Photonics has expanded their product range to include fast tunable lasers in the C-band and O-band, high-frequency data modulation lasers, and miniaturized, monolithic comb laser assemblies. They also offer the LYRA range of software-supported benchtop laser modules.
