Pilot Point Neighborhood Events Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local nonprofits and creating neighborhood events in Pilot Point, Texas. Its signature gathering, the annual Pilot Point Oktoberfest, celebrates the German roots of the community and brings residents and visitors together on the Historical Pilot Point Square. The 2026 event is scheduled for September 26, from noon to 6 p.m., featuring live music, traditional German dancers, a beer tent, and more than 35 food and craft vendors.
Oktoberfest offers family-friendly activities and entertainment, including dachshund races, a pretzel baking contest, sack races, a stein-hoisting contest, a kids’ zone, miniature train rides, face painting, a Volkswagen show, and a dunking booth. The organization also welcomes volunteers, vendors, and sponsors, offering sponsorship opportunities that include event recognition and promotional benefits. Proceeds support selected local nonprofits, including Lovepacs and Gab & Grub, as well as future neighborhood events such as Taste of Pilot Point.
