Founded in 1983, the Postgraduate Institute of Management Alumni Association (PIMA) is home to more than 2000 alumni members. Governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, PIMA is committed to encourage lifelong education, to provide quality services and programmes to members and to assist the continuous development and enhancement of the career progress of its members. The alumni of PIM is home for those who graduated from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), University of Sri Jayawardenapura. Being the pioneer in advanced management education in Sri Lanka, PIM provides leadership to those who are in the business of innovating and disseminating management know-how as well as to those who are in search of higher learning opportunities. PIM offers PhD programmes, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sri Lanka, Qatar, UAE and Oman. Also MBA in Taxation, Master of Business Administration in Customs and International Trade, Master of Public Administration (MPA), Executive MBA where the graduate enter the membership of the Alumni just after their graduation. PIMA comprises leaders across various sectors and a wide variety of industries.
