Pinafore is a brand that offers an alternative web client for Mastodon, a popular social media platform. Focused on speed and simplicity, Pinafore provides users with a refreshing and streamlined experience. Created by Nolan Lawson, this free and open-source software is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License.

One of the standout features of Pinafore is its commitment to privacy. Unlike many other platforms, Pinafore does not store any personal information on its servers, including names, email addresses, IP addresses, posts, and photos. Instead, all data is stored locally in your browser and shared only with the fediverse instance(s) you connect to.

Pinafore not only embodies privacy and simplicity but also offers a visually appealing interface. With icons provided by Font Awesome and an eye-catching logo courtesy of Gregor Cresnar from the Noun Project, Pinafore ensures both functionality and aesthetics. Experience the future of Mastodon with Pinafore, where speed, simplicity, and privacy are the order of the day
