Pin appears to be an online community forum for people interested in crafts, creative hobbies, and sharing their projects. Members post diaries, photos, discussions, and updates across categories including stitching, crochet, knitting, patchwork, sewing and tailoring, beading and jewelry, origami, cooking, pets, and other interests. Recent posts feature handmade items, patterns, craft materials, and members’ personal creations, giving users a place to showcase work and exchange ideas.

The forum also includes general discussion areas, group spaces, member profiles, collections, albums, image search, and a section for sharing pictures. Users can browse threads and participate by registering or logging in. The site uses a credit system, with members discussing how to earn, use, and transfer credits; it also provides announcements about copyright disputes and fair-use rules. Pin is therefore centered on member-generated content and community participation rather than presenting a commercial product catalog. Its focus is bringing hobbyists together to document their creative activities, discover others’ projects, and take part in conversations across a broad range of DIY and lifestyle topics.
