Pine Lakes – 18

Pine Lakes is a public 18-hole golf course in Herrin, Southern Illinois, offering a welcoming setting for members and casual golfers. Formerly known as Green Acres Golf Course, it was purchased by Phil and Judy Preston in 2004 and has since seen improvements to its tees, greens, sand traps, and course amenities. Its layout features tight fairways, challenging water hazards, and mature pines and other trees.

Golfers can enjoy the course, driving range, and practice facilities, or book the Foresight Golf Simulator to play selected courses or practice at the virtual range. The clubhouse includes men’s and women’s locker rooms, showers, member storage lockers, a snack bar and grill, a small bar, and comfortable seating. Banquet facilities are available for wedding receptions, birthdays, corporate events, golf outings, and fundraisers.

Pine Lakes also offers memberships, green fees, golf outings, and gift certificates that can be used for golf, the driving range, food and beverages, or pro shop merchandise.
