Pines Edge Suri Alpacas is a small farm in Black Forest, Colorado, with 26 years of experience breeding Suri alpacas. The ranch combines proven genetics with objective, measurable data to develop healthy, reproductively sound animals with strong conformation, good temperament, and high-quality fleece. Its breeding priorities include fiber fineness, luster, lock, and density, as well as the natural range of Suri colors.
The farm has downsized to a select herd and focuses on producing quality seed stock. Prospective buyers can explore alpaca sales, foundation females’ pedigrees and fiber statistics, show records, and breeding plans. Featured animals include herdsires and champion alpacas, with details such as strong biopsy scores highlighted for selected animals. Pines Edge also welcomes visitors and invites people to contact Linda Kondris to discuss Suri alpacas and their breeding goals.
The farm notes recognition including 2024 Breeder of the Year and 2023 Top Ten honors in halter, fleece production, and Suri female categories, as well as Herdsire of the Year.
