Pink Ribbon Girls is a non-profit organization that offers a range of services and programs to support individuals and families affected by breast and gynecological cancers. Their services are designed to alleviate the burden of a cancer diagnosis, allowing clients to focus on their fight against the disease. Pink Ribbon Girls provides healthy and convenient meals for the entire household, rides to and from appointments and treatments, housecleaning essentials, including natural cleaning supplies and a lightweight vacuum, as well as virtual and in-person peer support and education.
These services are completely free of charge and are made possible through community support, individual and corporate donations, and grants. While their services are primarily available in select regions, Pink Ribbon Girls also offer virtual peer support and education events for individuals facing breast or gynecological cancers anywhere. To receive their services, individuals can reach out to their nurse navigator, social worker, or oncologistโs office to submit a referral.
Alternatively, they can fill out a form on the Pink Ribbon Girls website to connect with their team and learn more about receiving support during their cancer journey. Pink Ribbon Girls is dedicated to providing comprehensive assistance to anyone currently undergoing treatment for any stage of breast or gynecological cancer, regardless of age or socioeconomic status. They serve an approximate 40-mile radius around Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus in Ohio, as well as St.
Louis, Missouri, San Francisco, California, and Buffalo, New York. Supporting Pink Ribbon Girls' mission is possible through various means, such as volunteering and making donations. While Pink Ribbon Girls do not accept wig donations, they encourage individuals to explore other community service nonprofits in their area that may accept these types of donations.
