PiNKs, formerly known as Tokyo Dance Village, is a dance school for adult beginners, particularly women in their 20s and 30s. With studios in Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro, each close to its station, PiNKs aims to make learning dance enjoyable and approachable while helping students stay active. Its “Super Beginner” classes are designed for people with little or no dance experience, with instructors guiding students through fundamentals and choreography at a manageable pace.

The school offers eight dance styles, including K-pop, idol choreography, hip-hop, jazz, dance and vocal, theme park dance, male idol choreography, and ballet. Students can also use a dedicated app to switch lessons free of charge up to one minute before class, choosing from more than 1,000 classes across the school’s locations and dance styles. PiNKs describes its environment as women-only, with female instructors and staff, and offers free trial lessons for prospective students.
