Pink Sisters

Pink Sisters & Misters is an organization dedicated to supporting people diagnosed with any type of cancer, along with family members and friends affected by a diagnosis. Its central aim is to help ensure that no one faces cancer alone by creating a welcoming, safe space where people living with cancer can meet and connect. Members can share experiences and feelings, ask questions, and talk with others in similar circumstances or who have followed comparable treatment paths. The group offers support during cancer treatment and afterward, recognizing that these periods can be among the most challenging in a person’s life.

Alongside its peer-support community, Pink Sisters & Misters promotes cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. It offers free talks, presentations, or advice points for workplace health and wellbeing events, helping employers share information with staff. The organization also invites people to get involved through support, donations, and other contributions. Its work has received community recognition, including being named 6 Towns Radio’s Charity of the Year in 2020.
