The Linn County Pioneer Association is a community organization based in Brownsville, Oregon, dedicated to preserving and educating the public about pioneer history while bringing local residents together. Its work includes operating the Pioneer Picture Gallery in downtown Brownsville and organizing the annual Linn County Pioneer Parade and Picnic, a longstanding celebration of local heritage and family activities. The 140th Pioneer Picnic is scheduled for June 18–20, 2027.
The association’s event program features activities such as a grand parade, car show, talent show, flower show, youth art show, kiddies parade, logging show, Pioneer Fashion Show, and beard and mustache contest. It also supports community participation through volunteer opportunities, scholarships, and event courts, and shares schedules, photo galleries, and information about past grand marshals. Local businesses and makers can apply to become picnic vendors, giving them a chance to display products or services and connect with residents.
The association also welcomes sponsors who want to support the picnic and its community activities
