About Pioneer Village Campground
Pioneer Village Campground is an RV and primitive campground set on a 52-acre creekside property in the mountains of Southwest Virginia, in Max Meadows. Located minutes from Interstates 81 and 77, it offers a relaxing outdoor stay with access to nearby regional attractions. The campground has 82 RV sites with 50-amp hookups, water, and sewer, as well as primitive tent sites.
Campers can use a newly constructed bathhouse with clean, hot showers. On-site features and activities include creek frontage, fishing, hiking, a gazebo, and a playground; a pavilion is also available on the property. Guests can reserve a spot through the campground’s website or contact the campground directly.
Nearby destinations include Galax, home of the Old Fiddler’s Convention, Hillsville and its Labor Day Flea Market, and the Bristol and Martinsville speedways. Pioneer Village Campground welcomes RV and tent campers seeking a convenient base for outdoor recreation and regional events, with spacious grounds and welcoming owners noted by visitors
