Pitchford Funeral Home is a family-owned and operated funeral home in Wood River, Illinois, serving families throughout the Riverbend area. Since opening in 2008, the Pitchford family has focused on compassionate, personalized, and professional care, with close attention to detail and services intended to treat each family like their own. An owner is available around the clock to assist with immediate needs.

The funeral home offers traditional funeral services, cremation, personalization options, and veteran services. In April 2025, it installed the Pitchford Crematory on its premises; the home describes itself as the only funeral home in Wood River with an on-site crematory. Families can arrange services immediately or plan ahead using online preplanning forms and checklists. Additional support includes obituary listings and notifications, help sending flowers through local florists, and resources on what to do when a death occurs, grief, social security benefits, and funeral etiquette. Pitchford Funeral Home also provides a year of weekly grief-support messages by email. Its facility is located at 2555 Vaughn Road in Wood River.
