Pivotal Behavior Solutions is a locally owned provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, specializing in support for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and challenging behaviors. Founded and directed by Yvie Birks, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with nearly 15 years of experience, the organization emphasizes scientifically informed care delivered by trained, dedicated behavior analysts.

Its primary service is in-home ABA therapy, with support also provided in public settings where challenging behaviors may occur. Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians work on communication and language, social skills, daily living, sleep, hygiene, eating concerns, and reducing behaviors such as tantrums, aggression, refusal, elopement, and self-stimulation. The team also offers parent and guardian training, including individual and group classes, to encourage consistent use of ABA strategies. Consultative services can target specific needs such as toilet training and social skills, including for children who are not on the autism spectrum. Pivotal’s BCBAs also advise students, teachers, schools, and districts on applying ABA to support behavior and learning environments.
