Pixel Frames creates officially licensed collectibles and home décor inspired by memorable scenes from retro video games. Its signature shadow boxes bring iconic gaming moments off the screen and into living spaces, offering fans a tangible way to celebrate favorite titles and revisit the nostalgia associated with them. Each frame is made from laser-cut layers arranged at different depths within a foam backing, creating a three-dimensional effect from scenes built with two-dimensional pixel art. The products are designed for gaming fans, collectors, and anyone seeking distinctive décor with a connection to classic games.
The brand also features PLAX, a collection of officially licensed lenticular frames. Pixel Frames describes its work as a way to preserve the memories and stories that make gaming meaningful, with attention to the details of each scene. The company says it began developing its first frames after sharing ideas with developers, publishers, and fans at events and online, and started bringing the products to customers in 2018.
