Pixie Pods is a queer, Black woman-owned early childhood dance and tumbling studio based in Downtown Brooklyn, on the second floor of Atlantic Terminal Mall at 139 Flatbush Avenue. The studio offers movement classes for young children, including hip-hop and jazz, ballet, and tumbling, with introductory classes available to try for free. Its programs welcome children as young as 1.5, with class offerings for ages 1.5 to 4 and private group sessions for ages 1.5 to 8.

When school is out, Pixie Pods runs camps for children ages 3 to 8, including school holiday and summer programs. Families can also book birthday parties designed to make celebrations active and fun. For a more flexible experience, Private Pods bring an instructor-led, 45-minute session to a group’s chosen location, such as a park, living room, or rooftop, across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. Pixie Pods also shares class schedules, financial aid information, and updates about programs and special pricing.
