PiXL, the Partnership for Excellence in Education, is a UK education leadership network bringing together thousands of schools, colleges and alternative education providers serving learners from Key Stage 1 to post-16. The organisation works alongside school leaders to help improve pupils’ outcomes and life chances, and to equip leaders to drive positive change in their schools. Its approach is intelligence-led and evidence-informed, with support designed to help education teams find practical guidance when they need it.
PiXL offers membership for primary, middle, secondary, post-16, alternative and overseas education settings, as well as services for multi-academy trusts. Members can access specialist support, regular networking, leadership development, events, strategies and a wide range of resources. Its sector teams are intended to reflect the distinct needs of different settings and the changing education landscape. PiXL also shares ideas through podcasts, including leadership reflections and discussions about applying insights from non-educational leadership books to schools.
