Pizza for Pooches is a Melbourne-based brand making handmade pizzas designed as a special treat for dogs. Founded in 2023 by Sandra and inspired by her dog Cooper, the business gives pets a dog-friendly option to enjoy when their humans have pizza. Its yeast-free pizzas use Australian-sourced ingredients, including flour, tomatoes, meat or tuna, and cheese. Each has a baked base and tomato-based sauce, topped with chicken, beef, pork, lamb fry or tuna. Flavours include Chicken Supreme, Meat Lovers, Porkies Special, The Lamb-e-Ghini and Cooper’s Ocean Catch. The recipes contain no onions or spices.
Pizzas are vacuum sealed and frozen soon after preparation to maintain freshness. They are designed to be cooked from frozen in a microwave, air fryer or oven according to the package directions, then cooled before serving. The brand describes them as an occasional treat rather than a complete everyday diet. Customers can order through the website or purchase at Bark Road Pet Shop in Brunswick, with local pickup available.
