Polski Klub Ekologiczny Okręg Pomorski, or the Pomeranian District of the Polish Ecological Club, is an environmental organisation that shares information and promotes engagement with ecological issues in the Pomeranian region. Its website features news, educational materials, lectures, projects and EkoAgora, providing ways for visitors to explore current environmental topics and activities.
The organisation’s coverage includes water conservation, circular economy, fungi and biodiversity, ocean acidification, pesticides in food and plastic pollution. Its activities also connect environmental awareness with community participation, as illustrated by the “Łączy nas las” initiative, which highlights residents taking an active role in matters concerning local forests. The club publicises educational events such as webinars and guided mycological walks, alongside project updates, including a summary of its Survival of Nature 2024 activities. Through these resources and events, the Pomeranian District offers the public opportunities to learn about environmental challenges and take part in related discussions and initiatives.
